Teenagers

Well cards for teens are certainly a bit more of a challenge and with this one, a lot of fiddling about ended in this result.

The card was representing an Akai midi, that I knew was a gift for this particular 16th Birthday. I was quite pleased with the keyboard, where I used the scoreboard on the edge of the keys, before cutting off a tiny triangle in each corner. It seemed  to make them stand out better!

It was quite a challenge to get the result that I wanted, but the new Stampin’ Up foil sheets helped achieve that end result of the backlit switches.

I didn’t have the dies she used, so I used what I had, as you do. This set is a die stamp combo from Kaisercraft.
As you can see I didn’t use the whole stamp but was very pleased with the result, using Stampin’ Up cardstock, ink & ribbon.

Double Scrapbook layout

 I recently entered one of my few layouts to a challenge with 

Scrapbooking Global - Stampin Up group. 

It was only a small challenge with about four entrants. 

Needless to say I was delighted to win!

I have used Stampin Up Eastern Palace suite of stamps & dies. The 12 x 12 Eastern Palace designer series papers for the background,  stamped with Versimark ink and with Eastern Gold stickers.

The sentiments were done on the computer with the Stampin Up
