30 Day Challenge - Day Seventeen. Frosted Floral

Today, a colour challenge, using Black, Grey & White, using any or all of these colours.

I did try to stick to the rules with the three colours of this challenge and found that more of I challenge than I’d anticipated, so in the end I just had to add a little bit of colour. 
I think I have completely dipped into my Stampin’ Up! retired supplies for this one. I have the lovely grey ‘Frosted Floral’ DSP as a base and layered with a couple of pieces of smoky slate & powder pink cardstock, plus a little Year of Cheer washi tape. Foliage is from Wonderful Floral dies that has been arranged in Smokey slate and dull & shiny silver card. 
The sentiment is from the Hand Delivered stamp set, punched out with Classic Label and mounted onto Frosted Floral DSP & powder pink 2017-2019 In Colour DSP.

30 Day Challenge - Day Sixteen. Tropical Chic

The challenge for today is another card sketch. I hope you enjoy these, which can sometimes just fall into place and other times seem to become a hunt around the craft room!

Today seemed to be one of the better days where the challenge just fell into place! 
I have used the Stampin’ Up! ‘Tropical Chic’ bundle, starting with Tropical Escape DSP in two different designs.
The SU ‘Stitched Sweetly’ diecuts draws your eye to the sentiment. Blushing Bride is one of the colours in the Tropical Escape DSP and so I have picked up on this for the sentiment background & flowers. Flirty Famingo has been used for the top flower, before diamanté’s have been added to the flowers & sentiment.

30 Day Challenge - Day Fifteen. Vintage Card

Today I’ve hit the halfway mark on this challenge and hopefully you will also have a go at this 30 day challenge that has taken me to a few new techniques!

For Vintage cards I just have to use a Crumb Cake Cardstock and have picked out some Tropical Oasis DSP. The thing with vintage for me is having a go at something a little out of my comfort zone and if I go wrong, you’ll never know unless I tell you!

The DSP once cut to size has been embossed with the SU Subtle Folder and then I sanded the front and the sides to distress it. Using Versamark ink, I stamped some vertical lines using the ‘Music from the Heart’ stamp set and white embossing powder, then a Kaisercraft script stamp has has been used with Early Espresso ink randomly to finish.

I have made a tag from SU Celebration Dies in Soft Suede CS and shadowed with a cream CS. The tag is finished with sentiment and dies from the Sailing Home bundle with a piece of Cherry Cobbler CS cut using the ‘Christmas Traditions’ punch in between. This is  layered onto SU retired ‘Mini Striped’ ribbon has been used beneath the tag.
