30 Day Challenge - Day Twelve. Santa’s Workshop

I know it is a little early in the year to do another Christmas Card, but this ‘Winter’ challenge asks what makes you think of winter? For me it must be the Europe winters spent before making Australia my home. In particular being warm and cosy inside, whilst it is snowing out in the cold!
So to continue with the Martins Mayhem challenge,

Onto a piece of wood effect designer paper, I have used Stampin’ Up! Santa’s Workshop Designer Series Paper from the Signs of Santa bundle. This has a fussy cut Santa in the armchair for the focal point, with a die cut of parcels as accents.
From the SU Perfectly Plaid set I have stamped in various green inks for the shading of a Christmas Tree and punched it out to go behind the armchair. The sentiment is also from this set.
The SU Hearth & Home die makes a perfect window frame for the outside snow scene using the snowman from Santa’s Workshop DSP.
This is mounted onto red paper and a Whisper White Cardstock.

TIP - when layering card you can utilise some of the unseen card from under the main card front, by either cutting some out for several small items or cutting a smaller frame from the centre for another project.
(Here you can see where I have used this paper for several projects and it can be seen beneath in the finished card.)
